Partner Program Terms
Last updated: October 28, 2026
1. Agreement and eligibility
These Partner Program Terms (the "Terms") are an agreement between you ("you" or "Partner") and Lord Jesus App ("we", "us" or "our"), which operates Lord Jesus at lordjesus.app (the "Service"). They govern your participation in the Lord Jesus partner program (the "Program"). By applying to or participating in the Program, you accept these Terms, our Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
To participate you must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher), able to enter into a binding contract, and able to receive payments by one of the methods in Section 6. If you apply on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorized to bind it, and "you" includes that business. Residents of countries or persons subject to applicable sanctions may not participate.
2. Enrollment and approval
- You apply through the partner page at lordjesus.app/partners.html and must give accurate, complete information, including the websites, channels and audiences where you intend to promote the Service, and keep it up to date.
- We may approve or reject any application at our discretion, with or without giving reasons.
- Once approved, you receive a unique referral code and access to your partner dashboard at lordjesus.app/partner.html, where you can see your referrals, commissions, holds and payouts.
- Your account is personal to you. You may not transfer it or share your dashboard access.
3. Referral links, codes and attribution
- Partner link. Your partner link has the form
lordjesus.app/?ref=CODE. When a visitor arrives through it, the referral is remembered on that device for 60 days. - Promo code. A customer may also enter your promo code at checkout.
- One partner per customer. Each customer can be attributed to only one partner. The first partner recorded on the customer's account keeps that customer; later links or codes do not change the attribution.
- A referral is attributed only if it is recorded by our systems through your link or code. Referrals lost because of cleared browser data, blocked storage, use of another device, or technical failure outside our reasonable control are not attributed. Our records are final for attribution purposes, absent manifest error.
4. Commissions
- Rate. You earn a commission of 15% on every subscription payment (monthly or yearly) that a customer attributed to you makes during the 12 months after that customer's first payment.
- Base. Commissions are calculated on the amount actually paid by the customer, excluding taxes and after any discounts.
- Not commissionable. Purchases of extra minute packs, free plans, payments made more than 12 months after the customer's first payment, and any payment that is refunded, charged back or otherwise reversed.
- No commission is earned on referrals obtained in breach of these Terms, including self-referrals, incentivized sign-ups or prohibited practices described in Section 8.
- Commissions are calculated and paid in US dollars; if your bank account uses another currency, Stripe's conversion applies.
- Affiliates you bring. If another affiliate applies through your invite link (or names your code when applying) and is approved, you also earn a bonus of 3% (or the rate shown in your dashboard) on the commissionable payments of the customers attributed to that affiliate, for the same 12 months per customer. This bonus is paid by us and is not deducted from the other affiliate's commission. Who brought an affiliate is recorded when they apply or are approved and cannot be changed afterward. The bonus covers only affiliates you bring directly, not affiliates they bring in turn, and the same holds, refunds and exclusions apply.
5. Holds, refunds and chargebacks
- Each commission is held for 30 days after the underlying payment before it becomes payable.
- If the underlying payment is refunded or charged back, the related commission is reversed. If it has not yet been paid, it is cancelled; if it has already been paid, we may deduct the amount from your future payouts.
- We may withhold or reverse commissions that we reasonably believe result from fraud, error or a breach of these Terms while we investigate, and permanently if a breach is confirmed.
6. Payouts and taxes
- How you're paid. Payouts are made by Wise, PayPal or bank transfer to the payout details you give in your partner dashboard; keep them accurate, as we are not responsible for payments sent to details you provided. Where we offer payouts through Stripe Connect, you may instead complete Stripe's onboarding from your dashboard; your use of Stripe is subject to Stripe's own terms. We may ask for the tax information required by law (for example, Form W-9 or W-8BEN) before paying.
- Schedule and minimum. Payouts are made monthly once your payable balance is at least $25. A balance below $25 carries over to the following month.
- Taxes. We, or Stripe where it pays you, collect your tax information and issue tax forms where required (for example, Form 1099 in the United States). You are solely responsible for reporting and paying any taxes on amounts you receive. Payouts may be subject to withholding where required by law.
- You are responsible for any fees charged by your bank or for currency conversion. Any payout or conversion fees charged by the payment provider are deducted from the payout.
- If you do not give valid payout details (or complete Stripe's onboarding, where offered) within 12 months of earning your first payable commission, or if your participation ends for a breach of these Terms, unpaid amounts may be forfeited to the extent permitted by law.
7. Disclosure and legal compliance
- You must clearly and conspicuously disclose your relationship with us every time you promote the Service, using words such as "#ad", "sponsored" or "affiliate link", as required by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides and by the laws of the places where your audience is located.
- The disclosure must appear before or next to your link or recommendation, be easy to notice and understand, and, in audio or video content, be said out loud. Examples are in the media kit.
- You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including advertising, consumer-protection, anti-spam (such as CAN-SPAM and equivalent laws), privacy and data-protection laws, and with the rules of every platform where you publish.
8. Brand guidelines and prohibited practices
You must follow the brand guidelines in our media kit, as updated from time to time, and always present the Service honestly as an "AI portrayal grounded in Scripture". You must not:
- claim or suggest that the Service is the real Jesus, or that it provides divine revelation;
- make misleading health, financial or miracle claims, or any other false or unsubstantiated claim about the Service;
- send spam or unsolicited messages of any kind (email, text, direct message, comments or otherwise);
- bid on "Lord Jesus" or similar brand keywords (including translations and misspellings) in search or social advertising, or register or use domains, social-media handles or app names that are identical or confusingly similar to ours;
- publish your link or code on coupon, deal or cashback sites, or on any site that offers rewards for sign-ups;
- refer yourself, your own accounts or members of your household, or offer money, gifts or other incentives to people to sign up or subscribe;
- create or associate the Service with content that mocks faith, is hateful, sexual, violent or otherwise offensive, or that is directed at or targets minors;
- impersonate us, suggest that you are our employee or official representative, or speak on our behalf to the press;
- use cookie stuffing, forced clicks, hidden links, bots or any other method that generates artificial or misleading referrals.
9. License to use our brand
While you participate in the Program, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the name "Lord Jesus" (and its official translations "Señor Jesús", "Seigneur Jésus" and "Senhor Jesus"), our logo and portrait, and the materials we approve or provide in the media kit, solely to promote the Service in accordance with these Terms. You may not alter these materials (except resizing), combine them with other marks, or use them in any other way. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. The license ends automatically when your participation ends, and you must then remove our materials from your content within 30 days, except for content published before that date that cannot reasonably be edited.
10. Your content and conduct
- You are solely responsible for the content you create and publish, including its accuracy, its compliance with these Terms and the law, and any third-party rights in it (music, images, footage and so on).
- You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to link to, quote and share content you create about the Service, with attribution, on our own website and channels for promotional purposes.
- We may ask you to correct or remove content that does not comply with these Terms or our brand guidelines, and you agree to do so within 3 business days.
- You will behave respectfully toward our customers, the communities you reach and people of all faiths and none.
11. Term, suspension and termination
- These Terms apply from your approval until your participation ends.
- You may leave the Program at any time by writing to support@lordjesus.app.
- We may end your participation at any time with 30 days' notice for any reason, and immediately if you breach these Terms. We may suspend your account or payouts while we investigate a suspected breach.
- When your participation ends, your links and codes stop generating new commissions. Commissions validly earned before the end date, and not affected by a breach, will be paid in accordance with Sections 5 and 6. Sections 5, 6 (for amounts due), 10, 13, 14, 15 and 16 survive termination.
12. Changes to the Program
We may change these Terms or the Program, including commission rates, attribution rules and payout conditions, by giving you at least 30 days' notice by email or in your partner dashboard. Changes apply from the date stated in the notice and do not affect commissions already earned. If you do not agree with a change, you may leave the Program before it takes effect; continuing to participate after that date means you accept it. We may make changes required by law or to prevent fraud with shorter notice.
13. Independent contractors
You and we are independent contractors. Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, partnership, joint venture, agency or franchise relationship. You have no authority to make commitments on our behalf, and you are responsible for your own expenses, insurance and taxes.
14. Confidentiality
Information we share with you that is not public, including unreleased features, pricing plans, commission terms negotiated individually, and data in your dashboard, is confidential. You will use it only to participate in the Program and will not disclose it to anyone else without our written consent, unless required by law. You receive aggregated information about your referrals only; we do not share customers' personal data or the content of their conversations with partners.
15. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Program and the Service are provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee any level of referrals or earnings, or that the Service or tracking will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenue, and our total liability arising from these Terms or the Program is limited to the commissions paid or payable to you in the 12 months before the claim.
You will indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your promotion of the Service, or your breach of these Terms or of applicable law.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively by the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and each party consents to their jurisdiction. Before starting any proceeding, each party will try in good faith to resolve the dispute by writing to the other for at least 30 days. Nothing prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief to protect its intellectual property or confidential information.
These Terms, together with the documents they refer to, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Program. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
